I was wondering whether or not I should read this thread, and now that I've reached the end I'm still debating. Heh. Anyway, I don't know what the women are claiming about. Everytime I go into any town, I see tons of female 'toons dancing with all their armor off. Maybe if they weren't leading us all along, there wouldn't be this problem.
Of course, I'm kidding. I don't even understand what purpose hitting on random women chars could possibly serve. And PLEASE don't answer that rhetorical statement, because I really don't want that picture in my head.

I play female characters. I do this mostly because, well, I don't want to stare at a guy's ass for 70+ hours.
I get hit on. And not in a sly way. It's blatantly gross. Some people have no ****ing tact at all. I feel sorry for girls honestly.

hey baby... I can show you a good time...lol

I've played female chars before in various different games and had the joy of experiencing this same problem. I usually just solve it with a, "hold on, I gotta go drain the snake".

Not always, I get confused for a gal all the time, and I havent the foggiest idea why. I have a few female friends who KNOW im a guy and even they somtimes get confused if I role up a new character on them.
At any rate, it should be noted that some of the corny lines that get throwen around are just roleplayers trying to have a good time, as most any gamer who's spent more then 4 or 5 months playing MMO's knows most female characters are played by males. Not all of them are roleplayers of course, which is sad, but thats the way the cookie crumbles. None of it should ever be taken seriously.

Damn dude! Your computer screen must be pretty small to have some guy's ass covering the whole thing. Is that the first thing you look at above all else thats presented in the game?

This is really the first game I have played where it isn't considered "Wierd" for a guy to play a girl toon or vice versa...since it isn't really Role Playing I guess. I would never assume that a female toon in this game is a female, or a male is a male...I just ignore it when people assume my female is controlled by a girl!

You know in all honesty though, this is one of the few games I can understand guys really wanting girl characters, simply because there are so few decent looking male faces/models as a whole.
I mean of course, my necro is badass, but that's besides the point. Even my MALE necro gets hit on by female characters. You know, the whole "come and sit in 'front' of me /dance in me" sort of thing, along with miscellaneous...awkward pms.
And a /shoo doesn't usually do the trick. I want to be the only one admiring my brilliance damnit!

Haha, silly, your information says you're a necromancer. You'll do no such "warrior taunt" in front of me!
I'm going to create a female character, sit it in pre-searing and see what happens.

lol look behind those dancing females and I bet 90% of their 'controllers' are male though
Yeah right on the thing that if some guy online is after cyber (or girl, i know they exist :P) then they won't be bothered if you have a hubby/bf, but when the hubby/bf is actually stood next to you in the game, they tend to get lost After all, isn't sleeping around about easy targets? Lol. But most games have male chars that look like they were thrown together in about 2 minutes, and then females that were probably shaped for hours... I guess graphics designers are still all geeks in basements hehe j/k graphics people!

All four of my characters are of the gentler sex I've recieved no trouble from anyone. the most that's happened has been a few people commenting on my main character (Li Xao) and usually when I'm in town people will run past, stop, and 'subtly' position themselves close by to take a peek at the evil leather bikini clad necromancer. Some are not so sublte and run up straight in front.
